Welcome to RevolArch. By accessing or using our website and tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

TL;DR: Be respectful, don't abuse our services, and understand that tools are provided "as-is" without warranties. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using RevolArch services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • You will not use our services for any unlawful or prohibited purposes

2. Services Description

RevolArch provides free, open-source web tools and experiments, including but not limited to:

  • TypeRacer: Typing speed test and training tool
  • Weather Dashboard: Weather forecasts and air quality data
  • GitHub Analyzer: GitHub profile statistics and analysis
  • CV Analyzer: AI-powered resume review and feedback

Service Availability

  • Services are provided free of charge
  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime or availability
  • Services may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice
  • Some features may require third-party API access (GitHub, Open-Meteo, Anthropic Claude)

3. User Responsibilities

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services responsibly and NOT to:

  • Abuse or overload our servers with excessive requests
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our services
  • Upload malicious content (viruses, malware, spam)
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users

Rate Limits

  • Contact Form: 5 submissions per 15 minutes per IP address
  • Analytics API: 100 requests per 15 minutes
  • CV Analyzer: Subject to Anthropic API rate limits
  • GitHub Analyzer: Subject to GitHub API rate limits (60/hour without token, 5000/hour with token)

CV Analyzer Specific Terms

  • You are responsible for the content you upload
  • Do not upload CVs containing sensitive personal information you're not comfortable processing
  • CVs are processed using Anthropic's Claude API and are not stored on our servers
  • Analysis results are for informational purposes only, not professional career advice

4. Intellectual Property

Our Content

  • All code, design, text, and graphics on this website are owned by RevolArch or our licensors
  • Our source code is open-source under the MIT License (see GitHub)
  • You may use, modify, and distribute our code under the terms of the MIT License

Your Content

  • You retain all rights to content you submit (CVs, contact messages, etc.)
  • By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the intended purpose
  • We do not claim ownership of your CVs or personal data

Third-Party Content

  • Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo
  • GitHub data is provided by GitHub API
  • Icons are from Phosphor Icons
  • Fonts are from Google Fonts

5. Disclaimers & Warranties

No Warranty

Our services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties of accuracy, reliability, or completeness of data
  • Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service

Tool-Specific Disclaimers

Weather Dashboard

  • Weather data is provided by third-party APIs and may be inaccurate
  • Do not rely solely on our forecasts for critical decisions
  • We are not responsible for decisions made based on weather data

CV Analyzer

  • Analysis is generated by AI and may contain errors or biases
  • Feedback is for informational purposes only, not professional career advice
  • We are not responsible for hiring decisions based on our analysis
  • AI-generated content should be reviewed by humans

GitHub Analyzer

  • Profile scores are algorithmic and subjective
  • Metrics do not represent developer skill or worth
  • We are not affiliated with GitHub, Inc.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RevolArch and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages resulting from use or inability to use our services
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data
  • Damages resulting from errors, bugs, or inaccuracies in our services

Maximum Liability: In any case, our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

7. Third-Party Services

Our services integrate with third-party APIs and services:

  • Anthropic Claude API: For CV analysis
  • GitHub API: For profile analysis
  • Open-Meteo API: For weather data
  • CDN Services: For fonts and icons (unpkg, jsDelivr, Google Fonts)

These third-party services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, availability, or changes to their services.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Key Points:

  • We don't sell your data
  • Most data stays in your browser (localStorage)
  • CVs are processed in memory and not stored
  • Contact form submissions are sent via email

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when Terms were last modified.

Notification: Significant changes will be announced on our homepage. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate access to our services at any time, for any reason
  • Block IP addresses that violate these Terms
  • Remove or disable content that violates these Terms
  • Discontinue any service without prior notice

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, all licenses granted to you terminate immediately. Data stored in your browser (localStorage) will remain until you clear it manually.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
